The Little Sisters of St. Francis

Based out of East Africa, the Little Sisters of St. Francis (LSOSF) were founded on 1st May, 1923 in Uganda by Mother Mary Kevin Kearney (Mama Kevina), a Franciscan Missionary. Their mission is “to reach out with compassion to the marginalized in the spirit of St.Francis and Mother Kevin.”Mission Madera is committed to supporting the LSOSF Community of the Eastern Region of Uganda (Madera) and their vocation of service.
